A rapid second-half hattrick from Pitch Rep’s Chris McKee has helped his Rangers U17 side make the semi-finals of the Al Kass International Cup in Qatar.
Facing Ecolle Sportive du Sahel, who came into the match having knocked out Bayern Munich, the Gers (Rangers U17) were ruthless on their way to a 7-0 victory.
Coming on in the second-half, Chris was quick to make an impact when he calmly finished off a pin-point cross.
And 13 minutes later he was on the scoresheet again, following up a parry by the keeper and sliding it around him to make it 6-0. The 16-year-old then secured his hattrick four minutes later with another quick piece of work inside the box, concluding the Gers scoring.
The performance comes after the striker made his first appearance at Ibrox earlier this season - a reward for the Northern Ireland age-group international, who has been steadily progressing through the Rangers development pathway.
Chris and the Gers will now face Kashiwa Reysol in the semi-final on Wednesday, who knocked out Real Madrid with a 2-0 victory.
