It’s been a big couple of weeks for Pitch Representation’s Luca Connell.
The 17-year-old made his first start for the Bolton Wanderers in the fourth round of the FA Cup, with his impressive display seeing him called upon for Bolton’s Championship encounter days later.
It couldn’t have gone much better for Luca, who picked up his first assist, received gushing praise from Bolton fans and drew the attention of a number of clubs.
Starting in the midfield against Bristol City in the FA Cup, Luca had an immediate impact when he executed a pin point cross to set up a goal in the sixth minute.
While Bolton would go on to lose 2-1, Luca’s performance was praised by fans and media alike.
The Under 18 Ireland international was named as the standout player on the pitch by the Bolton News, and was subsequently named in the starting XI to take on Reading in their Championship match.
Once again, Luca received widespread praise for his performance, with many describing him as the best on the pitch and touting him for big things in the future.
