Same competition, same opposition, but with a new team; Kieran Trippier will once again take on Liverpool in the Champions League on Wednesday night when Atletico Madrid face the reigning champions in the second leg at Anfield.
For Trippier, who missed the first leg at home due to injury, it marks the second year in a row he's come up against Liverpool in the competition, having lost to them in the 2019 final with former team Tottenham.
But Trippier, who made the shift to the Madrid based team in the summer, will head into the second leg of the Round of 16 match with a slight advantage, with Atletico having won the first leg 1-0.
After a speedy recovery, Trippier has returned to the pitch in good form, and is likely to play a big role in trying to eliminate a side which was favoured to retain their trophy.
It's been 10 years since these teams last faced each other in the Champions League. Under Rafa Benitez in 2010, Liverpool won their home game at Anfield. However, they came up short in the away leg and ultimately were knocked out after Atletico went through on away goal difference.
Watch all the action unfold when Atletico Madrid take on Liverpool in the final leg of their Champions League Round of 16 on the 11 March at 8pm UK time.
Good luck Kieran!
